Transfer and research

Research at the Faculty of Applied Social Studies is characterized by a strong focus on application and refers to different social science approaches such as empowerment, participation, inclusion and diversity, as well as to different fields of social action such as youth and family support, community work or health promotion. Due to the heterogeneity of the research questions dealt with, the faculty has a differentiated and diverse research profile, which creates an adequate environment for students and allows them to participate in application-oriented research processes as part of their studies.
