About the person
Prof. Dr. Eugen Wingerter is Professor of Business Law at Fachhochschule Dortmund. His expertise in research and teaching lies in particular in antitrust law, including competition economics, corporate law, commercial law and contract law. His industry focus is primarily on the digital and platform economy as well as other industries with powerful and dominant companies. As a lawyer and business economist, Eugen Wingerter conducts interdisciplinary research at the interface between law and economics.

In his teaching, Eugen Wingerter's aim is to prepare students of business law optimally for the professional demands of business life, taking into account the latest developments in the field of learning how to learn, . He brings to his teaching his many years of experience as a lawyer for international business law in major international law firms and his specialist expertise from numerous publications.
Eugen Wingerter is available to answer questions from companies on commercial law, in particular on antitrust law, compliance structuring and commercial and corporate law. His practical and academic experience enables him to explain complex issues in an understandable way and to develop solutions that are both scientifically sound and practical. Eugen Wingerter is open to collaborations that profitably combine teaching, research and practice.
