Everyone on board listens to his command: as a helmsman, Florian Koch not only has to keep rowing boats on course spatially, but also keep his teams on track for success with tactical announcements. He is studying computer science at the University of Applied Sciences and is developing a measuring system with an acceleration sensor for - of course - rowing boats.

The UAS offers its architecture students not only a little finger, but also a whole (robotic) arm: with the help of an industrial robot, complex and precise spatial structures can be planned and produced. This allows students to gain practical experience during their studies and enhances their qualifications.

An innovative solution. Perseverance in four years of development and testing. The finished product is now on the market. A storage aid for crutches. The idea came from Phil Janßen, who studied at the Faculty of Design and recently completed his Master's degree. He founded "STEETS" with two friends.

Workstations, lounge corner, checkroom and kitchenette - all on ten square meters. The mobile sustainability office at the UAS is a space miracle. The construction trailer called "Soffi" brings the CSR office into contact with UAS students at all locations and also presents the university at events and trade fairs in Dortmund.

The third Rhino racing car is no less sleek than its predecessors. However, the real progress has been made under the hood. The Race-Ing. team has increased the output of the engine by a whopping 20 percent. The qualifications for Formula Student 2024 have already been mastered. In July and August, it's off to the race track.
