LightScape

Ein experimenteller Spielraum zu Fragen der sozialen Gerechtigkeit als interdisziplinäres Projekt von Sozialwissenschaftler*innen und Gestalter*innen

Fast facts

About the project

Is it possible to raise awareness of homelessness, classism and racism in a game environment? Is it possible to combine everyday discrimination, from which a significant proportion of our fellow citizens suffer, with games and puzzles that we know from Escaperooms in order to create a new encounter with effects and facts?

With this experiment, students from the Departments of Design and Applied Social Sciences are venturing into new territory as part of an interdisciplinary project supported by the university's internal teaching grant (HiLF).

Active participation and feedback desired

Interested parties can become part of the project and experience an intensive process in the "Lightroom". In the "Lightroom", assumptions and conditions are questioned... Everyone has a right to live first, don't they? What can accompany you in everyday life and make it visible to others? How can something that you think you have overcome still be there? Can a color decide whether you are the problem or in need of protection?

Participation in a game round in the experimental game room is possible on October 4 and 5, 2024, an appointment booking is required here(Opens in a new tab) here(Opens in a new tab)  in advance.
