About the person
As a research assistant in the Accessible Studying team, I counsel students with various impairments. I also work in the Digital Accessibility in Studying team.
To strengthen networking among students, I regularly organize an accessible Studicafé two to three times a semester.
I myself studied at Fachhochschule Dortmund with a hearing impairment and a chronic illness and completed my bachelor's degree as a social worker, as well as obtaining a qualification as a peer counselor (ISL).
Counseling takes place by appointment through email contact, either in a face-to-face meeting or via WebEx. I do NOT offer counseling by phone. If required, this can also take place in English or in sign language (LBG and partly DGS).
