The strategic alliance of Westphalian University of Applied Sciences, Fachhochschule Dortmund and Bochum University of Applied Sciences has developed into a crystallization point for regional impulses from applied science in the Ruhr area through joint initiatives in recent years.

The ruhrvalley Start-up Campus creates professional structures for the promotion and intensive support of start-ups. In addition, unexploited potential across the
potential in the breadth of the study programs and faculties.

The central aim of the ruhrvalley Start-up-Campus is to leverage this previously untapped potential, based on the broad specialist coverage of the three universities and the excellent network with start-up-promoting institutions, young and established companies in the region.
