Lecture Prof. Manfred Lux

Fast facts

Information

Next week, on Thursday, 19.12.2024, the last lecture in the series "Building with plant fibers" will take place. We will start as usual at 18:00, in the lecture hall of the faculty, Emil-Figge-Str. 40.

As a guest we welcome Prof. Manfred Lux with the lecture title "Typha lightweight constructions". As the title suggests, the lecture deals with another renewable raw material - Typha - better known as bulrush. As an architect, Prof. Manfred Lux runs his own architectural office in Augsburg. As part of his professorship for building construction and building materials at the TH OWL Detmold, he researches cattails and will present the "Green Container" research project, among other things.
