As part of the DAAD-funded project "Global Transformation and Social Work Practice", digital workshops on various topics are offered on a regular basis.

The current workshop with two selection dates will deal with the topic "Social Action and Emancipatory Social Work Practice". The workshop is free of charge and will be held in English. Registration is required. Participation will be confirmed with a certificate.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Yasmin Jessie Turton, Senior Lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. She is a social worker and has worked as an activist in Southern Africa for many years.
