Pop-Up! 3-D worlds made of paper
moderated by Prof. Oliver Langbein
For years, only a few people were able to take a look at Peter Dahmen's foldable paper creations. This changed in 2010 with a short YouTube film. The overwhelming response made him a social media sensation and landed him international commissions. As a freelancer, he created impressive designs for well-known brands. Some of his pop-up card designs became bestsellers at the MoMA store in New York. In his inspiring lecture, the designer will present remarkable projects and provide insights into the creation process of his pop-up models. Among other things, he will talk about what is probably the world's largest pop-up card and his most complex pop-up sculpture to date, which he designed for the Netflix stop-motion animation film "Wendell and Wild".
