Graduation ceremony 2024

A full house and a festive atmosphere in lecture hall E24 and the KostBar at the 2024 graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Applied Social Studies(Opens in a new tab) . Around 125 graduates from the last two semesters, who had registered for the ceremony together with friends and family, were honored accordingly. Students from all of the faculty's study programs were represented: Bachelor of Social Work(Opens in a new tab) , dual Bachelor of Social Work with a focus on migration and integration(Opens in a new tab) , Master of Social Work: Youth in Theory and Practice(Opens in a new tab)  and the Master of Social Sustainability and Demographic Change(Opens in a new tab) .

Moderated by Rainer Holl, Svenja Stepper(Opens in a new tab) , Chancellor of Fachhochschule Dortmund and Rectorate Patron for the Faculty of Applied Social Studies, began by welcoming the graduates. Later in the evening, Rainer Holl conducted exciting interviews with the Dean Prof. Dr. Katja Nowacki(Opens in a new tab)  and Lars Sökeland, a graduate from the Bachelor of Social Work. The ceremony was accompanied by music from the "Tonstudio 13 Collective FOUR" of the gesamtkunstwerk e.V.(Opens in a new tab)  association.

After the stage program, those celebrating had plenty of time to toast with a champagne reception and take souvenir photos in the photo box of the Fachhochschule Dortmund Alumni Service (Opens in a new tab) .
