Information

Till Richter, Auer Weber Architects

Till Richter studied architecture at the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt and the Universitá degli Studi di Firenze from 1989 to 1997. Since 2001, he has been working at the architectural firm Auer Weber, constantly alternating between working on competitions and concrete project implementation. Since 2012, he has also taken on higher-level tasks in the office as an associate. The focus of his project work is building in existing buildings, with the range of tasks extending from office and residential construction to special buildings. The focus here is on design issues - also in relation to the preservation of historical monuments - as well as questions of constructive and technical optimization of existing structures. With lectures and workshops, Till Richter also pursues the goal of inspiring clients and planners for the architectural and ecological potential of building with existing structures outside of his own project work.

In the MOSAIK lecture series, Till Richter focuses on the influence of the location on Auer Weber's architecture, ranging from "greenfield" projects to existing buildings.
