On November 14, 2024 , Henrik Becker, Managing Director of the NOTO architecture firm in Hamburg, will be a guest of the lecture series and will give a lecture in lecture hall 0.01 of our faculty. The office focuses on building in existing buildings and deals intensively with the choice of materials. One of the projects he will be presenting at Timmendorfer Strand shows how the typology of the thatched-roof house can be transformed into a contemporary building. The project was awarded the State Prize for Building Culture and the BDA MAX45 Young Architects Award 2021.
