Information
On December 17, 2024, the first "Day of Sustainable Architecture in an Interdisciplinary Context" will take place at the Faculty of Architecture under the title "The UN Development Goals (SDGs) as a driver of circular architecture".
The format was developed for this day by lecturers and Master's students of the Master's program in Resource Architecture as part of the seminar "Sustainable Architecture in an Interdisciplinary Context". In preparation for the event, students traveled to Berlin to find good examples of participation and the implementation of the SDGs. They also visited an exhibition on sustainable innovative materials. The result was a special format that brings together research, interaction and teaching.
- Dean Prof. Diana Reichle welcomes you to the start.
- From 10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be a tour of the various stands in the foyer, where the exemplary implementation of the SDGs can be experienced as a driver of sustainable architecture.
- From 10.30-11.30 and from 12.30-13.30, two workshops (max. 15 people) will take place in which participants can grow their own mushrooms/mycelium as building materials and become part of an action group that deals with the construction and composting of this material.
You can look forward to interactive activities on the SDGs. Students, lecturers, researchers, interested citizens, architects and planners are invited.
