Information

Lecture as part of the online lecture series "Fachwissen zum Mittag", organized by the library and the Graduate Center of the Fachhochschule Dortmund.

Research data is the basis for gaining scientific knowledge and should be stored in a traceable manner for at least 10 years in accordance with the DFG's rules of good scientific practice. But what exactly does that mean? In order to store research data sustainably and for a longer period of time, special concepts need to be applied which can be summarized with the FAIR principles. This event will give you an insight into the measures required to make your data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable, i.e. FAIR. This will lay the foundation for you to be able to find, open and understand what you did 10 years ago.

Speaker: Dr. Olaf Kletke, Head of the Research Data Management Department at the Technical University of Dortmund
