We are pleased to invite you to the "fibra award bambus" exhibition, which will take place from May 22 to May 29, 2024 in the foyer of our faculty at Emil-Figge-Str. 40.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 5:30 pm.
We are particularly proud that the exhibition will be opened by Andrès Bäppler, architect and pioneer of bamboo buildings. Back in 2019, he was awarded a special prize at the "First World Prize for Contemporary Plant Fiber-Based Architecture" in Paris for his pioneering work in building with bamboo. Mr. Bäppler will first guide us through the exhibition before we come together in a cosy atmosphere to admire the works and discuss innovations in the field of bamboo architecture. Drinks and snacks will be served to round off the evening.
The vernissage promises not only a fascinating opening of the exhibition, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people and get to know new perspectives.
