The objectives of the study are: - To determine the status quo and initial experiences of the large-scale switch to working from home by employees in the insurance industry forced by the pandemic, - To answer the question of whether working from home has generally proved successful, to what extent the attitudes of employees and managers have changed and what areas of action arise for employee co-determination. - The study focuses on professional activity in employees' private homes, usually known as home office or teleworking, as opposed to stationary work in an employer's office and mobile working at different locations. - The relevance arises from the coronavirus pandemic-related sharp increase in the proportion of working hours that had to be spent at home instead of in an employer's office, either compulsorily or voluntarily, in order to break chains of infection in general, avoid pandemic-related closures and protect employees from health risks. - To this end, an online survey was conducted among almost 1,300 employees of insurance and brokerage companies between mid-May and mid-June.
