Forum 4 of the AQ Austria Annual Conference 2024 with Prof. Dr. Pamela C. Scorzin on the topic "Integrity in artistic study, teaching and research: challenges for art colleges and universities"
With the Higher Education Law Package 2024 (Austria), integrity in academic, but also in artistic study, teaching and research operations was included as a central quality feature for the Austrian higher education area and anchored in the HS-QSG for all types of higher education institutions. In addition to compliance with good academic and artistic practice, this should also include a culture of academic and artistic honesty and quality. More detailed regulations on integrity in academic and artistic study, teaching and research are now also to be included in the statutes of higher education institutions and universities.
This forum focuses on artistic study, teaching and research. We will discuss the specific issues and challenges that arise for art colleges and universities in the context of integrity.
