About the project
The ManDEE project aims to comprehensively digitalize the three international Master's programmes "European Master in Project Management (EuroMPM)", "Digital Transformation (MDT)" and "Embedded Systems for Mechatronics (ESM)" as well as the associated international consortium "European Partnership for Project and Innovation Management - EuroPIM" and supplement them with the subject area "Managing the Digital Transformation". To this end, a Digital Education Ecosystem (DEE) is being developed that will enable the establishment of a virtual, cross-border Master's School.
A new joint module portfolio in the area of "Managing the Digital Transformation" consisting of digital elements (stored as customizable Open Educational Resources (OER)), attendance units (e.g. as practical, team or project phases) and individual (e.g. scientific-reflective) work facilitates integration. A joint identity management system (eLearning Community Server, ECS) links the eLearning systems of the partner universities. The basis of the joint training is the development of a "Competence Model for the Digital Transformation (CMDT)".
For the didactic model of the virtual Master School, methodological knowledge and media didactic skills will be built up among lecturers through train-the-trainer (TtT) courses, through lecturer exchange (co-teaching), but above all through the development of Open Communities of Practice (OpenCoP, in the sense of maker communities) and made available in the consortium's Open Innovation Portal. To implement the service-oriented, digital infrastructures for transnational teaching, an exchange platform for student data in ELMO format (EMREX compatible), the integration of Erasmus without Paper (EWP) with the SOP system for student mobility, two new plugins to be developed for the eLearning system (Student Journey Configurator, Mobility Planner), a digital tool for managing competence profiles and a cooperation platform for the OpenCoPs are being developed. The introduction and training of users is supported by an IT technology steward. This gives lecturers the opportunity to develop and offer their content in teams across borders and disciplines. Students can individualize their studies and choose between physical and virtual mobility depending on their life situation. All in all, a highly interactive and integrated ecosystem is being created that generates learning situations that correspond to the project-oriented, interdisciplinary and international working world. The tools, concepts and evaluation results of the Digital Education Ecosystem (DEE) will be made available via various channels, creating a blueprint that can be easily adapted and adopted for other internationally linked study program systems.
