1. PD-051: (assigned) Distance detection by analyzing the optical flow within image sequences using DirectShow video recordings. The basis for this work is a Pocket PC with a 1.3MPix camera mounted on a mobile robot. The work is based on previous work.

8. PD-058: (expired) Technology studies for the software development of Rosen. Rosen is the market leader for equipment and evaluation software for pipeline inspection.
9. PD-059: (awarded) Redesign and implementation of random forests for time series prediction in cooperation with NuTech Solutions.

The control systems are mostly implemented in embedded systems (PPC) or directly in FPGAs. An important principle in the development is the specifications of the Federal Railway Authority (EBA) regarding safety, in particular CENELEC (EN ISO 50126-50128). We are looking for support in the area of software programming and software project planning. The employee/intern should have knowledge of C/C++ and English (Wonderware advantageous).
