These are deeply depressing times, when we are shaken by global wars and terrorist attacks. Our sympathy goes out to all people who are suffering immeasurably.
At Fachhochschule Dortmund, we firmly reject violence in any form. Violence does not lead to peace, but instead leads to further escalation. However, we stand for an open-minded society; for a peaceful and respectful coexistence of people of different origins, religions, ideologies and sexual orientations, different genders, ages and educational backgrounds.
We see ourselves as Dortmund's window to the world. And as a space in which internationality is experienced and lived in Dortmund. Our UAS promotes the exchange of students, teaching staff and employees with our international partners - with more than 140 partner universities from around 50 countries worldwide.
We actively promote academic exchange that transcends borders and differences. The sciences need peaceful and free exchange - and we need people all over the world to live together peacefully and freely.
