FLÜGGE with abc.ramics

Published

The sound takes shape.

From the initial idea to the big opportunity: what actually happens after a university degree? On March 25, 2023, the HvO-Nordstadtgalerie invited former students behind the pottery company abc.ramics and Fachhochschule Dortmund's start-up service to talk about the path to self-employment.

Afterwards, abc.ramics offered a free pottery workshop on the topic of "handbuilding". The associated window exhibition was on display in the Nordstadtgalerie from 18.03. - 31.03. as well as online on the social media channels.

Alumni Hannah Bünemann and Kirstin Ahrens founded abc.ramics together during their studies. With their studio in Dortmund's Unionviertel district, they successfully focus on the production and sale of handmade ceramics and pottery workshops. The start-up service offers students support from initial feedback on a start-up idea through to submitting an application as part of university-specific start-up support programs.
