First sustainability report of Fachhochschule Dortmund

Published

Fachhochschule Dortmund has published its first sustainability report. The report presents the university's sustainable measures, activities and processes in an authentic, factual and transparent manner. It covers the years 2021 and 2022.

In the face of advancing climate change, all parts of society must take action. The University of Applied Sciences and Arts is acting as a role model and assuming social responsibility. The objective is clear: to develop Fachhochschule Dortmund into a sustainable university. Fachhochschule Dortmund is now making its sustainable projects and activities visible in six fields of action - governance, teaching, operations, research, transfer and university living space. In the sustainability report, it presents the topics objectively, transparently and comprehensibly for everyone. In addition, the sustainability measures and actions are set in relation to the UN's 17 sustainability goals in order to better place them in a global context.

In the interests of sustainability, Fachhochschule Dortmund has decided not to publish a printed version of the report. Instead, the full report is available as a digital PDF file.
