An excursion before the summer vacation: Accompanied by the StudyScouts, around 40 pupils from Anne-Frank-Gesamtschule visited the campus of the University of Applied Sciences on Emil-Figge-Straße on June 14.
The pupils found out where students study and what reserve collections actually are in the library at the Emil-Figge-Straße 44 location. In the presence of library staff, they curiously examined the premises.
In the foyer of the Faculty of Architecture, the students took a look at artistic exhibits and urban planning models that had been placed for exhibition purposes. During short stops in front of the relevant buildings, the students learned what student advisors do and how diverse the Social Work study program is.
The campus tour finally came to an end with an extended visit to the canteen.
