In 2024, the Writing Center at Fachhochschule Dortmund's Career Service will once again be hosting a Writing Week. From August 19 to 23, students will be able to concentrate fully on their term papers and theses, accompanied by advice and short lectures. The program provides input on almost all aspects of academic writing and related topics, and there is always time and space to write in between or in parallel. In addition to support from experts from various fields, the event offers a good opportunity to exchange ideas with other students who are also currently working on an academic paper - true to the motto "Shared suffering is half suffering".
As in previous years, the library will also be present and offer participants counseling on the following topics:
- Reference management with Citavi
- Citation and quotation
- Literature research
