Under the title "Beat the Heat", the Nordstadtgalerie hosted a city walk through Nordstadt and two specialist lectures. As part of the "Grüne Nordstadt" series of events, the link between heat and a lack of green spaces in urban areas was the topic from August 17 to August 31.
During the city walk, the participants tried to find out more about this phenomenon and understand how heat arises in densely built-up urban areas, including Nordstadt. Tips and strategies for dealing with heat were also provided.
On each of the event days, visitors were given useful tips on how to deal with heat in the rooms and windows of the Nordstadtgalerie. In addition, exciting hands-on projects were presented that are committed to a greener Nordstadt.
