Contents

The ED FM2 module focuses on the investigation and testing of suitable specific visual forms of presentation and communication based on specific practice-oriented design projects and their particular requirements. The aim is to open up opportunities for students to develop an independent visual signature related to the design project - both conceptually and experimentally. This takes particular account of the respective focal points, forms of expression and target groups as well as the specific requirements in the field of publication (analog/digital).

  • they are confident in their authorship and can develop multi-layered presentations for a wide range of media applications: storytelling, book, magazine, publication, internet, blog, etc., as well as present and defend their project in a comprehensive, target group-oriented manner
  • to think like a publisher and to know distribution structures and mechanisms
  • build and maintain a network of professional contacts

Contents

In addition to preparing the Master's project, the 2nd semester focuses on authorship and the specification of design strategies and dialects in the field of publication / editorial design such as magazine design, book design and interaction design.
