You can take the subway lines U43 and U44 to the Unionstraße or Westentor stop. From here it is a 5-minute walk to the FZW.

The FZW can be reached on foot from Dortmund main station in about ten minutes.

The FZW is very easy to reach by bike. Bicycle racks are located directly in front of the main entrance and in front of the vocational college on the opposite side of the street.

The nearest stations of the bike rental provider nextbike can be found at the Unionstraße stop and near the Westentor stop (Hoher Wall). The use of nextbike bicycles is free of charge for our students.

Please note: To use the nextbike rental bikes, you must register with the provider Metropolrad Ruhr. The easiest way is to register for free in the nextbike app with your university e-mail address, select Fachhochschule Dortmund as your partner and enter your cell phone number for activation.

There are a few free parking spaces directly behind the FZW as well as on the adjacent streets Ritterstraße and Übergönne. The large parking lot at Übelgönne is partly chargeable. Please follow the corresponding instructions.

Please note that admission to our party is subject to an ID check. The Youth Protection Act also applies to our events. To ensure that all our guests can party with us until well after midnight, admission is only possible from the age of 18. Please have your ID ready at the entrance control. Thank you for your understanding!

No, we have drinks stands with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer and the Studierendenwerk Dortmund provides a range of different food on site with its food truck.
Please note: The prices for drinks are subsidized by Fachhochschule Dortmund, so that there are student-friendly prices on site.

You can pay contactless (debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) or in cash at all counters and at the checkroom.

Yes, there is a spacious checkroom in the entrance area of the FZW where you can leave your jackets, umbrellas or bags.

The FZW is largely barrier-free. Only the balcony in the large hall and the small club are only accessible via stairs. There is a gallery in the club area, which is also accessible for guests who use a wheelchair. Here you have an undisturbed view of the stage and a little space to join in the party. The toilet area, including a toilet for wheelchair users, is located in the entrance area and is directly accessible from all floors. Two barrier-free parking spaces are located at the rear of the FZW and can be reached without restriction via the access road on Übelgönne Street. Accompanying persons have free admission and do not need their own ticket.

Please note that there will only be a box office for our event if there are still tickets left after the pre-sale. To secure your admission to the event, we recommend that you purchase tickets in advance.
