The Studo app is becoming increasingly popular at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Currently, around three out of four students are already using the useful functions to manage their studies digitally and stay up to date.
Whether newsfeed, course and exam grade overview, semester ticket, library card or much more: for a good two years now, the University of Applied Sciences has been offering its students free access to the ad-free "PRO version" of the Studo app thanks to a cooperation. At the start of the 2022 summer semester, the proportion of all users at the UAS was still 20 percent. Since then, the figures have risen with each semester to 73%.
Incidentally, the majority of Studo app users are not - as one might assume due to the proximity to IT - in the Faculty of Computer Science, but in the Faculty of Business Studies, where around 90 percent of students are accessing the digital helper in the current semester.
