Once again this year, the Faculty of Computer Science hosted the traditional visit of the Konrad-Klepping-Berufskolleg (KKB) for an ERP workshop day. This time, the focus was on the ERP system SAP S/4HANA®.
True to the motto "Don't just listen, do it", 13 pupils from Konrad-Klepping-Berufskolleg slipped into the role of students for a day.
After an introduction to the basics of ERP systems, the workshop began with a case study on navigating SAP S/4HANA®. Here, the participants learned how to find their way around the software, use various functions and retrieve data. They then moved on to the Sales and Distribution (SD) case study, which describes an integrated sales process in detail. The students were able to go through the entire sales process - from creating a customer to creating a sales order and posting it.
The workshop day was led by Prof. Dr. Sinje Teschler-Nunkesser and accompanied by student tutor Kevin Chen, who supported the participants during the practical exercises. The students also received information about the study opportunities at the Faculty of Computer Science.
The participants worked with commitment and left the faculty with many new impressions.
